This year we are proud to be celebrating our 36th year of the Scholarship Program. In recent years we expanded our scholarships to include applicants currently in or recently graduated from high school pursuing a 2-year STEM degree and applicants who have been out of school for 5 + years enrolled in a full time STEM program. With these changes we hope to broaden our outreach and enable more students to pursue their career in STEM. After the amazing support we have had in previous years we would like to keep the ball rolling and support as many women as possible. Last year we were able to give five scholarships, each with a value of $3,000, thanks to local businesses.
This effort has been made possible through local companies and individual contributors who support our mission of promoting science, technology, engineering, and mathematics careers for students from the Central NY region.
Sponsorship for the 35th Annual Scholarship Program is being accepted! If you are interested in becoming a sponsor and would like more information, please contact our Scholarship Committee at SyracuseSWE.Scholarship@gmail.com.
