Friendsgiving
In November SWE members and friends gathered to enjoy food and get to know each other better. The event was hosted at a section member’s home.
Career Panel with SU SWE
On Monday, November 13th we held a panel discussion with the Syracuse University SWE section with the theme of making changes in your career. Thank you to the professionals who volunteered to share their experiences and advice! The event was well attended and we are excited to be able continue to collaborate with the collegiate section.
New Website!
Welcome to our newly redesigned website! Please pardon any glitches and as you may notice, some aspects are a bit visually bare-bones. If you are a SWE member and interested in helping either test website functionality (do links work? how are the visuals/navigation on desktop vs mobile vs tablet?, etc) or would like to help make the site more visually appealing, please email us. An interest meeting will be held at some point in November.
Apple Picking
In early October SWE members and friends met up at Beak & Skiff in LaFayette. We enjoyed beautiful weather, food, drinks, and apple picking! Thank you to everyone who came!
Kickoff Picnic
In September we kicked off the fiscal year with a picnic at Maxwell Park in East Syracuse. SWE members and friends enjoyed networking and food! Thank you to everyone who came!
Trivia Night
In late June Greater Syracuse SWE members and friends gathered at Meier’s Creek Brewing Co.- Inner Harbor to celebrate International Women in Engineering Day! We enjoyed food, drinks, and participated in Trivia night at the venue.
