PDH Seminar
In December SWE members and colleagues joined us over zoom for a PDH seminar. The presentation topic was "Recent Drinking Water Design Projects in the CNY Region" and was presented by two young engineers from B&L, Olivia Hicklen and Jessica Martine. Thank you, ladies, for the excellent presentations and thank you everyone who attended.
Jewelry Demonstration

In February SWE members and friends were treated to a virtual demonstration of how a stone is set and how a ring is resized. Technical aspects, such as materials and methods used, were discussed throughout. A recording of this demonstration can be found here.
Adrienne Peltz is a former Greater Syracuse SWE scholarship recipient and her husband, Aric, is a trained jeweler. Together they have a business creating beautiful jewelry and educating people about the materials and methods used in the process. More about them and their company, Forge Gone Conclusions, can be found on their website.
