27th Annual Scholarship Program 

On May 22nd we held our 27th annual scholarship reception. The event was attended by SWE members, the scholarship recipients, their families and teachers, and representatives of our many sponsors. Held at Justin's Tuscan Grill, attendees enjoyed food, company, a brief overview of the scholarship program's history, and an inspiring talk by the Keynote Speaker, Sara Martin. It was a lovely evening and we look forward to continuing the tradition.

Sara Martin is a licensed professional engineer with over 20 years of experience in project development, management and design of various municipal and industrial water, wastewater, and utilities projects.  Her experience also includes design-build implementation, start-up, operation and troubleshooting of anaerobic and aerobic wastewater treatment systems. 
 
Sara Martin has a diverse experience background with the ability to take a project from initial concept through design and implementation, including bench-scale treatability, pilot studies and project scale-up.
